Virtual Events
In this time of ever-increasing accessibility to the internet, we are investigating the possibility of convening a virtual pre-conference. We are planning a way for all of you who are interested in becoming involved in the matters with which we will be dealing at the 19th IUHPE World Conference to meet with each other and with our invited speakers via the internet and ahead of the conference itself.
Our intention is to get you engaged, to introduce ourselves to one another, to commence our dialogue, and to build momentum before the conference begins. It is our hope that, by getting a virtual head-start, when we all arrive in Vancouver we will be prepared and enthused to finish that which is already underway - the creation of a worthy legacy to our meeting.
This virtual meeting project is very much a work in progress. We are running hard to stay abreast of the high tech developments that fuel these sorts of endeavours. If any of you have any current information or suggestions that you think would be useful to us, we would be pleased to hear from you.
