During the 8th CSDH meeting, a small group of experts will provide Commissioners with major comments on its draft interim statement. In addition, Commissioners will discuss the social determinants of indigenous people's health based on a set of worldwide case studies, and the work of the Canadian reference group for the CSDH, focusing on assessing best practices in intersectoral actions to address social determinants of health and health equity. The CSDH will hold a symposium during IUHPE to share its draft statement, as well as major reactions thus far and plans for wider consultation. The CSDH warmly welcomes the participation of IUHPE participants in this symposium.
